What does Xpert Form Mail do?

Xpert Form Mail is everything you need for for handling mail forms on your web sites. It consists of an advanced form mailer script generator that can take any number of fields as input and doesn't need to be configured for each one. Xpert Form Mail figures out what fields are being sent and sends that data in an e-mail. Xpert Form Mail can require certain fields, or all fields, and can do e-mail address entry checks. The second part of the program makes a web page for your users' information entry, which then uses the form mailer script.

What do you need to use Xpert Form Mail ?

There are a few elementary necessaries to successfully attach Xpert Form Mail to your web site:
1. You must be connected to the internet
2. You need to have a website posted
3. You must have Netscape Navigator 4.0 or Internet Explorer 4.0 or later installed on your system

Using CGI Form

CGI Form makes an advanced form mailer script that can take any number of fields as input and doesn't need to be configured for each one. It figures out what fields are being sent and sends that data in an e-mail.
All you need to do is to enter the URL of your response page, for example http://www.yourdomain.com/response.htm, your e-mail address where you will receive your feedback, the title of the e-mail subject and Xpert Form Mail will take care of the rest. You then need to deploy the CGI file in your cgi-bin directory on the server. It will work with any feedback page, but it will show best performance in combination with Feedback generated in Xpert Form Mail.

Using Advanced HTML Form

Starter HTML Form generates a basic Feedback page with Name, E-mail and Notes fields providing only necessary user info. Advanced HTML Form, however, lets you select all fields you will ever need for your web site, such as address fields. phone, URL, etc. It is also very to use: just select fields you want to appear on your Feedback and click on the "Generate script" button and it's finished!
Remember that, in order to your Feedback page work, you need a CGI program which will take care about transfer process. Luckily, it is also available in the program.
